Security Awareness Poster Contest winners

As part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, MOREnet Security group sponsored a second annual poster contest, inviting libraries and K12 students across Missouri to use their creativity and imagination to design a poster with an Internet Safety theme.

“The students really took the idea and ran with it,” said MOREnet Security Manager Randy Raw. “It was tough choosing finalists from all the great submissions, and fortunately we didn’t have to pick the winners ourselves. I want to thank all of the students and teachers who participated, and I hope all of them and more will be back next year. In the meantime, stay safe on the Internet.”

The winning artists were announced at Internet Safety Night and received MP3 players. The posters are showcased on the security awareness page (, and will be used to create Security Awareness promotional materials next year. The organizations affiliated with the winners will also receive one free registration to the 2007 Security Symposium.
